| |  | Erin Kawa concentrates her practice in commercial litigation and product liability matters. Prior to joining the firm, she served as counsel to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, assisting in the formation, negotiation and oversight of contracts, licenses and commercial leases, as well as representing and advising the Board on a wide array of matters. Erin served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John E. Jones, III, of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
- Assisted in the successful defense of a federal court challenge to the legality of an interest rate swap agreement in connection with a $58 million bond deal;
- Assisted in defending federal court preliminary injunction case, obtaining judgment for the defendant on claims of unfair competition, breach of restrictive covenants, and interference with contractual relations;
- Assist and advise in-house legal department of an international corporation on a wide variety of commercial issues, including litigation management, contract formation and disputes, collections, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance;
- Assisted in federal court litigation to enforce a contested arbitration provision.
